After School Art & Making Club
Our after-school art & making club is a creative space where children can make, experiment, explore and get properly stuck into art - without worrying about getting it "right".
Each term, we discover the work and ideas of different artists, then use them for inspiration for our own creations. But this isn't traditional drawing or school art. Think sculpture, 3D creations, collage, construction, mixed media, unusual materials and lots of hands-on making.
There's no single finished piece that everyone has to copy. Instead, we'll look at what makes an artist interesting, explore their techniques and ideas, and then see where our our creativity takes us.
Classes & bookings
- Monday 3:30-4:45pm or Thursday 4-5:15pm
- Bookings are per half term, usually a 6 or 7 week block
- Classes are 75 minutes long
- £10 per session
- Children can leave their projects at the studio to continue working on them throughout the half term block.

TODDLER ART CLUB
Where do toddlers get the freedom to explore like this?
Our toddler art sessions are all about process, not product. There's no right or wrong way to create, and no expectations for little ones to sit down and make a "finished picture".
Instead, we follow a child-led, play-based approach, giving toddlers the freedom to explore materials, colours, textures and tools in their own way.
Before they start creating, they need to experience the materials first - touching, squishing, splashing, mixing and experimenting.
Through play, toddlers are developing curiosity, confidence and coordination and problem-solving skills, all while having a brilliant time.
Each session has a different theme and new materials to explore.
Come prepared to get messy! We do provide aprons but old clothes are recommended (for little ones and grown-ups too!)
This class is a chance to say "yes, make a mess!" without worrying about what happens afterwards.
Saturday
A creative Saturday treat for ages 5 and up.
We have a new theme and project each month.
Children get stuck into hands-on crafting, learning new skills and creating something they can be proud of - all while having fun.
We have a special session coming up at the end of October, with regular monthly sessions taking place on the last Saturday of every month from 2027.
Drop them off and enjoy a little time to yourself, or stay and craft alongside them!
